I’m very slowly working out how to make the most of Twitter. Have a look in the left hand menu – yeah, that’s right, over there – and you’ll find my most recent tweets. Follow me if you want. It’s your call. Do whatever you want to do. Jeez.

Random facts … now with claws
Guy trumps everyone in the random fact stakes: he legally changed his middle name to Logan at the age of 12, just to be a bit more like Wolverine. I am so geekenvious. Of course, had I changed my name when I was that old, it would have been to Judge Dredd or Uncle Pig or something Games Workshop related. Which I may have regretted.

16 random facts about me
This is Byronic’s fault. I don’t normally go in for all this whole meme business, but it’s Friday and I’m a bit bored. These are the rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose a few of the people you follow to tag. You don’t have to tag the person who tagged you. If you’ve...

The usual Bafta nonsense
So the Bafta nominations are out, and, just like every other year, they make very little sense. Exhibit A: Slumdog Millionaire is nominated for Best British Film and Best Film. Surely that automatically makes it the Best British Film, no? Exhibit B: Mamma Mia is also up for Best British Film. Why? How is that British? And if it is British, why isn’t The Dark Knight? Exhibit C: Freida...

Dear printers
I’ve known for quite some time that 2009 was likely to occur. If I wanted a desk calendar, I would have obtained one several weeks ago. A nice one at that. I don’t want yours. Come up with something a bit more imaginative that differentiates you from the five other printers who have also sent me desk calendars. And if you are going to send me one, then at the very least send it to me...

Tidy/messy
Well it’s a Tuesday, and therefore I’ve decided to mess with the look of Binky. It’s still a work in progress, with lots of little annoyances messying up my attempt at a super-clean design, but hopefully I’ll iron these out of the next few days. All feedback is welcome as usual.

Linefeed
Michael Bojkowski has recently remodelled his already-exceelent blog Boicozine into something a lot more 2009-flavoured: Linefeed. It’s all modular and the it’s really simple to navigate. Plus, of course, the content is always top notch. It manages to bring together lots of different sources of data -from Flickr, Twitter, Google Reader etc. – without looking messy. Not an easy thing to...
