This film is on: Bullets Over Broadway
God only knows how I’ve made it this long with seeing Bullets Over Broadway. I’m an on-off fan of both Woody Allen and John Cussack, and this film belongs in both their best-ofs. It’s just great, the sort of thing Allen should do more often – it has a story and everything! No.Zine
Patrick Fry’s No.Zine is a gorgeous two-colour independent arts zine, each issue conceptually centred around it’s issue number. This film is on: High Fidelity
Watched High Fidelity with Dr B the other night. Although we had to keep pausing it so that I could explain that, yes, men are that idiotic, I think she enjoyed it. And so she should – it’s a bloody good film, a perfect addition to the john-cuss-rom-com genre (alongside The Sure Thing, Say Anything and Grosse Point Blank). It’s pretty much perfect from beginning to end. Except … ...
