Recent purchases

Oh dear lord I’ve been shopping. This isn’t particularly sensible, given that I’m moving house next week, but sometimes it’s hard to resist the call of the Amazon. I’m like Bruce Parry.

So, in a classic clockwise-from-top-left style, here’s my recent haul:a sexy new Penguin edition of Design as Art by Bruno Munari; the obligatory Big Design Book, Area_2 (not as sexy as the first volume, but  sexy nonetheless); volume three of Y: The Last Man (actually bought for me by the Good Doctor); The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction (another classic text, and my first foray into Penguin’s Great Ideas series); volumes three and four of the Complete Peanuts series; and the Graphic Artists Guild Handbook: Pricing & Ethical Guidelines, which I thoiught might come in handy for new adventures.

Now I just have to find somewhere to put them all…
