Marvel’s secret weapon: bearded character actors in vests staring at stuff

Judging by these pics from The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man, Marvel are planning on setting a new trend in superhero attire: the clean white vest (counter-balanced with a “don’t worry, although I’m rather buff now, I can still act all intense and stuff. I like, still want an Oscar, okay?” beard).

Something else connecting these film is - rumour has it - Samuel L Jackson playing Nick Fury in both, perhaps paving way for an Avengers movie. Or lots of convoluted movie crossovers that culminate in a universe so bloody complicated that they have to make a Civil Infininite Crisis War 52 movie every ten years just to dig themselves out and reset everything. One or the other.
